JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Keller / Pearce labs are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, individual for the Part-Time Research Coordinator position. This position focuses on

recruiting children and families to studies in the Child Eating Behavior Lab, designing surveys and experiments using Redcap, and working with children and families to collect data for clinical eating behavior and nutrition intervention studies.

Key responsibilities include:

Assist lab lead investigators in developing materials for data collection with children and families
Preparation of study materials for posting on open science and clinical trial websites
Training undergraduate students to administer cognitive, eating behavior, and survey protocols with children and parents
Management of post-study data processing and cleaning

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
