JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Marketing Department in the Smeal College of Business is seeking a candidate to serve as a teaching assistant for the spring 2026 semester. The teaching assistant will be responsible for one section of MKTG 330 - Consumer Behavior.

Job duties to include:

  • Grading assignments and helping the instructor with the class project

  • Other duties as assigned by the supervising instructor

Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies:

  • Preference to those who have taken the class before.

Schedule: Candidates are expected to be present in one class in-person during the semester, so it is important that there are no scheduling conflicts with at least one of the sections. The class schedule for each section is provided below:

  • First section: Mondays and Wednesdays 1:00-2:15 PM (Thomas Building)

  • Second section: Mondays and Wednesdays 2:30-3:45PM (Business Building)

  • 5-7 hours of work per week
