Part-Time Lecturer for GP8000 Artificial Intelligence (AI) Literacy

The Graduate College (GC) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, invites qualified candidates to apply for a Part-Time Lecturer for GP8000 Artificial Intelligence (AI) Literacy. The Part-Time Lecturer is expected to teach a postgraduate core course commencing in August 2025.

Applicants’ responsibilities to this position:

  • Attend any briefings/trainings by Course Coordinator.
  • Work closely with the Course Coordinator(s) to handle student queries and other student matters (e.g., grouping, academic dishonesty) related to the course. 
  • Be on time and conduct tutorials for the assigned course.
  • Facilitate group discussion and peer review.
  • Review group project proposals with Course Coordinator.
  • Arrange, facilitate, and grade course assignments (including proposal, presentation).
  • Address students’ questions about group projects, proposals, and course content, and provide guidance as needed.
  • Moderate assignment grades, where necessary, as per course policy or instructions. 
  • Ensure compliance with NTU guidelines and policies.
  • Other duties which Graduate College shall from time to time assign to you, including being course coordinator.

Successful candidates will have a relevant Master’s and/or PhD in AI or related field with a Artificial Intelligence (AI) Literacy. Past teaching experience at Postgraduate Level is preferred. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree Artificial Intelligence (AI) Literacy or related field and sufficient and relevant industry experience may also be considered in exceptional cases.
