Air Liquide Canada is seeking a Sales Administrator to join the Western Region Sales team.
The main function and purpose of this position is to achieve ALC’s sales vision while promoting safety and quality. A sales administrator is a vital member of a sales team, providing essential support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the sales department. The Sales Administrator provides the highest level of sales support by providing quick friendly and timely responses, accurate and thorough solutions and a proactive approach to solving issues.

Order Processing and Management: A primary function is the accurate and timely processing of sales orders and quotes, from initial receipt to final delivery. This includes verifying order details, checking product availability,audit support and coordinating with logistics or production departments.

Sales Team Support: Sales administrators act as a central support system for the sales team. This involves preparing credit / rebill work, PROS Pricing, New Account Set Up , as well as maintaining sales records, back order report and databases. Creation and support of the welcome package to new customers.

Account Maintenance: Any type of maintenance needed for an account. Name change, address change, ORA settings, Usepoints, medical license updates, Shipping instructions etc. Ensuing that the clients are contacted beyond email, and building a relationship while contacting clients in accounts receivable.

Customer Service and Communication: They are often a key point of contact for customers, handling inquiries about orders, products, and pricing. Providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues or discrepancies is a critical aspect of the role.

Requesting cylinder audits: Helping to resolve customer cylinder disputes is a common sales support function.  The Sales Admin works with Cylinder control to find solutions.


Data Management and Reporting: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer and sales data. Generating regular sales reports to track performance and identify trends.

Are you a MATCH?

  • Post-secondary diploma and/or 1-2 years relevant experience 

  • Experience with BI reporting is an asset

  • Knowledge of ERP systems with preference for Oracle or SAP S4 Hana

  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills

  • Proven technical and analytical skills with the ability to think creatively to identify trends and insights through different lens

  • Effective relationship builder and ability to deliver results through influence in a collaborative team environment

  • Strong drive to continuously evaluate and improve processes
