Oracle Lead Database Engineer and Architect (f/m/x)

We are seeking a well-rounded technologist (f/m/x) to help scale the data infrastructure The Global Database Engineering Team manages the relational database platform and develops the automation, which keeps the business systems operational.

The Database Engineer/Architect (f/m/x) will support the ongoing development and solution design of the relational database platforms and provide evaluation, certification and packaging of relational database tools as well as developing and maintaining platform automation scripts and applications.

Your key responsibilities

• Architecting and Solution design for cloud platform for databases.
• Develop automation platforms and modules to support database operational support teams
• Analyse incidents for root cause and update platforms and automation to eliminate problems
• Develop platform automation tooling to eliminate “toil”
• Provide support to application development teams in product and performance selection
• L4 Product database support for Exadata Cloud and Oracle Databases.
• Designing Database Model
• Technology lead for various Database and Cloud architectural topics

Your skills and experiences

• Architecting and designing solutions for Oracle database platforms 
• Core Oracle and CRS 11g, 12c, 18c, 19c,23ai Database DBA.
• Preferably Oracle Certified Master(OCM), Expert in Exadata infrastructure, Expert in Exadata Cloud @ Customer and Autonomous
• Bash / KSH Shell Scripting, Python 2.7 / 3.x Development, Ansible Playbook Development, database scripting and automation technologies
• Knowledge of Java 7/8 Development Skills, Oracle APEX, Git / Stash, JIRA
• Excellent written and spoken English, German is a plus
• Strong experience with Oracle 11g R2/12c/18/19C  RAC including build, administration, troubleshooting and performance tuning
• Hands-on experience in Oracle ASM and Dataguard administration
• Strong experience in  backup, recovery( including flashback technologies) and migration using RMAN, data pump and export\import processes
• Knowledge of network and firewall concepts & architectures, enterprise storage concepts & architectures and ITIL framework

Wir suchen eine vielseitige technologische Fachkraft (m/w/x), die dabei hilft, die Dateninfrastruktur zu skalieren. Das Global Database Engineering Team verwaltet die relationale Datenbankplattform und entwickelt die Automatisierung, die den Betrieb der Geschäftssysteme aufrechterhält.

Der Database Engineer/Architect (m/w/x) unterstützt die kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung und Lösungsarchitektur der relationalen Datenbankplattformen. Zu den Aufgaben gehören die Evaluierung, Zertifizierung und Paketierung von relationalen Datenbank-Tools sowie die Entwicklung und Pflege von Automatisierungsskripten und Anwendungen für die Plattform.

Aufgaben

• Architektur und Lösungsdesign für Cloud-Plattformen im Datenbankbereich
• Entwicklung von Automatisierungsplattformen und -modulen zur Unterstützung der operativen Datenbank-Teams
• Analyse von Vorfällen zur Ursachenforschung und Aktualisierung von Plattformen und Automatisierung, um Probleme zu beseitigen
• Entwicklung von Automatisierungswerkzeugen für die Plattform, um wiederkehrende manuelle Aufgaben („Toil“) zu eliminieren
• Unterstützung der Anwendungsentwicklungsteams bei der Auswahl von Produkten und Performance-Optionen
• L4-Produktsupport für Exadata Cloud und Oracle-Datenbanken
• Entwurf von Datenbankmodellen
• Technische Leitung für verschiedene Themen im Bereich Datenbank- und Cloud-Architektur

Fähigkeiten und Erfahrungen

• Architektur und Design von Lösungen für Oracle-Datenbankplattformen
• Fundierte Kenntnisse als Oracle- und CRS-DBA für die Versionen 11g, 12c, 18c, 19c, 23ai
• Idealerweise Oracle Certified Master (OCM), Experte für Exadata-Infrastruktur, Experte für Exadata Cloud @ Customer und Autonomous
• Erfahrung mit Bash- / KSH-Shell-Skripting, Python 2.7 / 3.x Entwicklung, Ansible Playbook Entwicklung, Datenbankscripting und Automatisierungstechnologien
• Kenntnisse in Java 7/8 Entwicklung, Oracle APEX, Git / Stash, JIRA
• Ausgezeichnete Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift, Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil
• Umfangreiche Erfahrung mit Oracle 11g R2/12c/18/19C RAC, einschließlich Aufbau, Administration, Fehlerbehebung und Performance-Tuning
• Praktische Erfahrung in der Administration von Oracle ASM und Dataguard
