Role Overview:
Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) is seeking a Operations Support Specialist to support Rotary Wing platforms. The Operations Support Specialist role provides support to the MRO Control team during the execution stage of Maintenance by providing planning/scheduling support, task readiness, document control and data metrics during the delivery of Aircraft maintenance, repairs and modification work. This key role interfaces with the MRO Senior Leadership, Programme Management, Engineering, Supply Chain and work in collaboration with the supplier and customer.
Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing project and operational plans to meet programme commitments to the Customer and Business.
Establishing and maintaining influential partnerships and relations with internal and external customers and suppliers including direct liaison with MOD and RAF customers.
Providing programme oversight of the Aircraft Maintenance work carried out at Depth to meet time, cost and quality requirements.
Develop, maintain and implement Programme Execution Plans including organisation, staffing, resources and facilities.
Achieve cost, schedule and quality goals through implementation of effective Project Management discipline, operations planning, production control and scheduling procedures/methodologies.
Ensure team and project compliance with all applicable Policies and Regulations. Ensure compliance with all contractual and statutory quality and safety requirements.
Maximize the potential for successful programme/project execution and growth by identifying risks and opportunities and devising, managing and monitoring the associated mitigation and realization plans and actions.
Champion and support Continuous Improvement across the Boeing activities on site.
Tracking and reporting KPIs including communicating and managing associated risks, issues, or opportunities.
Manage ad-hoc projects as driven by business requirements.
Preferred Experience:
Maintenance, Major Repairs & Modification Operations experience.
Working knowledge and experienced with GOLDesp, MoD form 700, GOLDesp MRO
Possesses knowledge of MAA Regulatory Articles (RA), MAA Regulatory Publication (MRP) Part 145, BDUK Part 145 MOE, aviation Quality Assurance (QA) and Safety Management System (SMS) and application of these requirements within their area of accountability, responsibility and authority.
