Operations Manager, Portfolio Planning

Stepping in as our new Operations Manager for Portfolio Planning, you will be instrumental in guiding our innovation efforts. Your objective is to streamline processes, enhance decision-making, and ensure we have alignment across various business units and the R&D organisation. You will be the catalyst that transforms ideas into impactful products, ensuring that every decision we make is informed, timely, and aligned with our strategic goals.

How you'll Contribute

  • Champion Product Development: Oversee the early stages of product development, ensuring that opportunities are well-defined and ready for high-quality decision-making

  • Streamline Processes: Identify and eliminate bottlenecks, implement continuous improvements, and standardize processes to enhance our delivery excellence.

  • Align Stakeholders: Facilitate alignment across various business units and support governance forums to ensure cohesive decision-making.

  • Centralize Knowledge: Act as the central point of knowledge for portfolio decisions, ensuring consistent communication and application of standards across the organization.

  • Innovate Tools & Planning: Develop and maintain core planning tools and models to support prioritization and scenario planning.

  • Enhance Communication: Manage internal roadmap communications to improve visibility and understanding of priorities and changes across the organization.

What we think you'll need to thrive in the role

  • Minimum B.Sc. in business or a technical field.

  • Proficient in managing stakeholder relationships and conveying information effectively, even without direct authority

  • Familiarity with SAFe development, cross-functional environments, and complex product portfolios combining hardware and software solutions.

  • Possess an initiative-driven approach with a focus on continuous improvement, analytical skills, and a delivery-oriented mindset A motivated profile who can relate to our leadership principles: Make It Happen, Be a Customer Geek, and Embrace to Win.

Your Growth Path

This role is designed to be a stepping stone into strategic planning and decision-making within our division. As you demonstrate your capabilities in operational excellence and stakeholder influence, your responsibilities could expand to include more strategic ownership of portfolio planning and governance. You will have the opportunity to affect the trajectory of our product

development and initiate lasting, measurable enhancements throughout the organization.
