General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking an Operations Coordinator – CDC Emergency Operations to join our team onsite at the CDC’s metro Atlanta facilities. This position supports the Division of Emergency Operations (DEO) within CDC’s Office of Readiness and Response (ORR), providing critical operational and administrative support to ensure 24/7 readiness and continuity of the Emergency Operations Center (EOC).
Public health emergency response requires coordination, precision, and adaptability. The Operations Branch within CDC’s EOC plays a central role in maintaining daily situational awareness, call management, reporting, and continuity planning to ensure CDC remains operationally ready to respond to any public-health event.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals with prior CDC, EOC, or emergency-management experience who thrive in high-tempo environments and are motivated to support CDC’s public-health mission.
