JOB SUMMARY
The Operating Room Materials Technician supports a multi-million dollar inventory and performs duties in computerized order entry, distribution of supplies, equipment, shipping and receiving of hospital merchandise and maintains good inventory management processes. The individual will meet supply needs with prompt delivery, monitoring and recommending central and route supply inventory maintaining par inventory locations, assuring accuracy of issues and insures the good working order and availability of equipment.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Preferred/Optional: Associate degree in business, healthcare or related field
EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required: Two years’ experience in inventory management in hospital or related settings. Work requires two years of experience of computer entry. Knowledge of inventory control, supply distribution, material handling.
