The purpose of this position is to ensure the growth and leadership of the oncology product portfolio through the development, co-creation and implementation of innovative strategies that accelerate access and reimbursement to the public and private markets, as well as guarantee the profitability of the products under its responsibility, managing the available resources.

This role is responsible for maintaining the growth of the portfolio in the medium and long term through the successful launch of new products, line extensions and new indications in his area, as well as ensuring the correct implementation of the strategy through the Managers to achieve the objectives set.

Your responsibilities:

This position gives you the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, the main ones are:

  • Strategy Development and Product Lifecycle Management: Responsible for creating and executing the Oncology franchise strategy, brand plans, and launch plans for new molecules, indications, or presentations. Ensures effective management of the product lifecycle to maximize impact and align with organizational goals.

  • Leadership and Team Empowerment: Leads cross-functional teams to develop a compelling strategic vision and aligned business plans. Acts as an ambassador for the vision, empowering FLSLs and teams to execute effectively through training, coaching, and actionable insights.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilizes various data sources (ATU, IQVIA, INEFAM, KPIs, etc.) to analyze market trends and performance, enabling informed and strategic decision-making to maintain competitive advantage.

  • Budget and P&L Management: Strategically manages the allocated budget and oversees the Profit and Loss (P&L) for the Oncology franchise area to ensure expected profitability. This includes optimizing resources and aligning financial decisions with business objectives to drive sustainable growth.

  • Customer and Market Engagement: Builds customer journeys by identifying critical touchpoints that require innovative solutions to shift market trends. Anticipates changes in the healthcare system and ensures GSK adapts to meet customer expectations while preparing for product access and reimbursement in both private and public markets.

  • Collaboration and Compliance: Fosters long-lasting cross-functional relationships and aligns teams with business processes to ensure efficiency. Collaborates with local, regional, and global GSK structures while maintaining adherence to regulatory and legal requirements. Engages with medical societies and opinion leaders to strengthen partnerships.

Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in administrative or health careers

  • Proven experience (at least 5 years) leading sales and marketing teams within the pharmaceutical industry in the oncology field (high costs and innovative products).

  • Succesful launches of new oncology products and indications in the public and private markets.

  • Advanced English

Desirable qualifications: However, if you have the following, it would be a plus:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration.

  • Hematology Product Expertise.

  • Knowledge of the mexican market.
