Intelligence-fueled.We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Engineer specializing in Microsoft Office Suite / Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise. This role is customer-facing and requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with technical, non-technical, and leadership contacts at customer organizations.
Responsibilities
Deliver Technical Workshops & Training: Conduct bilingual (English/Spanish) workshops and webinars to educate customers on Microsoft 365 Apps best practices and new features.
Localization & Cultural Adaptation: Ensure documentation, training materials, and user guides are adapted for Spanish- and English-speaking audiences without losing technical accuracy.
Change Management Support: Assist customers in planning and executing change management strategies to drive adoption and minimize resistance during migrations.
Security & Compliance Guidance: Advise customers on Microsoft 365 security configurations, compliance standards, and data protection best practices.
Automation & Optimization: Develop scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Office Scripts) to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
Performance Tuning: Optimize Microsoft 365 Apps deployments for speed, reliability, and multilingual user experience.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Customer Success Managers, Account Teams, and Product Engineering to align technical solutions with business objectives.
Customer Advocacy: Represent customer feedback to Microsoft product teams to influence roadmap and feature enhancements.
Continuous Learning & Evangelism: Stay current on Microsoft 365 innovations and share insights internally and externally through blogs, forums, and community events.
Lead Customer Engagements: Assess business needs and recommend tailored Microsoft 365 solutions that drive productivity and collaboration.
Design & Implement Migration Strategies: Support transitions from legacy Office environments to Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise.
Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain deployment guides, troubleshooting manuals, and configuration templates.
Trusted Advisor Role: Provide strategic guidance to enterprise clients on maximizing Microsoft 365 value.
Monitoring & Analytics: Analyze usage metrics to identify adoption trends and opportunities for optimization.
Health Checks: Conduct performance assessments to ensure optimal functionality and security.
Multilingual Support: Ensure seamless user experiences across Spanish and English-speaking teams.
Qualifications
10+ years in customer-facing roles (systems architecture, IT consulting, operations, or software support) with emphasis on Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise and Teams
BA/BS in IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent bilingual (English/Spanish) communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in global teams
Experience delivering technical workshops, training sessions, and webinars on Microsoft 365 best practices
Expertise supporting M365 Apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
Proficiency diagnosing and resolving Microsoft 365 App issues (remote and on-site)
Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 Apps deployment, administration, and troubleshooting
Knowledge of Windows operating systems
Experience writing enterprise-level documentation and training content.
