Job Summary
Develop and administer all Plant training programs and manage the activities of the Plant Training Department to ensure plant personnel are properly trained, skilled, and qualified to execute their job functions and their assigned tasks to the highest level possible.Job Description
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Ensure plant personnel are trained to established standards in compliance with Company, Division & Regulatory requirements, industry standards, and Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) accreditation guidelines.
- Establish departmental training procedures and methods for curriculum development and implementation of training programs to ensure that training meets the valid requirements of the plant departments served.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, curriculum, materials, facilities, and instructional staff to develop continuing improvement plans.
- Determine and recommend the most economical and effective means to meet established training needs, company training objectives, and all applicable regulatory requirements regarding plant training.
- Achieve/maintain INPO accreditation of training programs to comply with the established industry standard.
- Assist and represent the Training Manager in his/her absence.
WHAT WE SEEK
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related science or eight (8) years' experience in nuclear power plant operations.
Work Experience: Four (4) years' supervisory/management experience to include three (3) years of training experience.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Physical demand level is Sedentary
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Effective writing and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership ability.
- Specific knowledge of nuclear standards and nuclear policies, practices, and procedures relating to plant operations.
- May perform walk downs in plant environment, which may include exposure to: heat, cold, noise, and radiation.

Base Salary: $136K - $175K
