What You'll Do
Support the administration of five (5) non-qualified plan annual online enrollment (OE) processes, including reviewing participant communications, and coordinating with vendors on OE project planning.
Administer non-Qualified (NQ) distribution payments in accordance with the established schedule, covering various participant distribution events such as vesting, scheduled distributions, separation of service, death, and domestic relations orders (DRO).
Assist with Employer Discretionary allocation reviews (e.g., LTI, EMSP, ICP, DCP), including developing and communicating project timelines, delivering final allocation data, processing contribution deposits, and drafting participant communications.
Compile and analyze year-end Compensation data across multiple payroll systems to identify Highly Compensated Employees (HCEs) and gather data for non-discrimination testing, year-end filing and plan analysis.
Maintain and update non-qualified plan materials as needed.
Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to investigate and resolve data discrepancies, file transmission errors (inbound/outbound), and gaps between vendor recordkeeping systems and internal records.
Respond to participant inquiries regarding plan-related topics, including eligibility, contribution details, distribution payments, and vesting calculations.
Investigate and reconcile payroll deduction variances prior to initiating wire deposit requests for plan funding.
Contribute to team initiatives and special projects as assigned.
Identify and recommend department processes/procedures.
Identify ineffective processes/procedures and practices.
Make recommendations to streamline and enhance team productivity, efficiencies and effectiveness.
What You'll Need
4-year college degree preferred.
3+ years’ experience with non-Qualified deferred compensation plans (409 A) plan administration. 401(k) experience is a plus.
Intermediate Excel and Word.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to read plan documents and apply into daily administration of RH plans.
Ability to articulate plan provisions and guidelines to plan participants via phone or email.
Ability to reconcile payroll deductions and contribution deposits between payroll and TPA file interface.
Multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work in a team environment.
The typical hourly pay rate for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location.
