Night Support Worker

Location: Barnsley

Salary: £24,243 - £28,930

About The Role

Thrive Barnsley supports adults with a range of complex issues and a history of failed tenancies and/or repeat homelessness.  We support people to move on from temporary and supported accommodation into permanent tenancies. In addition, the service supports clients whose tenancies are at risk, to prevent homelessness.

About you & key duties..
The successful candidate will have experience of supporting vulnerable people and want to get involved to make a real difference.
We are looking for someone who is resilient, hardworking and has knowledge of safeguarding.

 

The post holder will be responsible for supporting enhanced housing management by completing relevant activities such as:

  • Supporting Service User residents to comply with license agreement and house rules.
  • Supporting void turnaround (by room preparation)
  • Assisting in coordinating/ reporting repairs
  • Rent collection & guidance.
  • Making sure the project is safe during hours of work
  • H&S assessments and support.
  • Supporting the clients in the “Crash Pad” facility, when in operation.
