Role location: Hybrid (two days in-office, three days virtual)

About the team:

The Network Support Services - Delivery team provides network connectivity implementation services for FIS global network. The high caliber members are among the technology leaders within FIS, utilizing multiple technologies and vendors. This team requires motivated members who are ready to develop personally and professionally as FIS grows to meet the challenges presented by today’s global economies.

What will you be doing:

  • Provide clear customer communication updates in relation to manage the network delivery of customers services.

  • Ensure regular, structured, and tracked engagement with customers (FIS Line of Business)

  • Where needed schedule consulting or troubleshooting call with customer for issue resolution

  • Monitor intake email box to provide on-time update / resolution to the customers (FIS Line of Business)

  • Where delivery challenges arise, demonstrate the ability to think quickly and maintain a methodical and calm approach to resolving the issues while under pressure.

  • Update documentation for the team members

  • Provide updates to management on potential escalations and issues.

  • Interface with technical and non-technical functions for network project coordination and sharing updates.

  • 24x7 support required as part of project requirement

  • Follows documented network services processes and procedures – identifies gaps in processes or documentation and suggests improvements.

  • Utilizing ServiceNow, documents status updates and problem resolutions.

  • Performs customer service duties and responds to customer requests as defined by management.

  • Supporting on weekend is required.

  • Responds to customer requests as defined by management completing assignments in a timely manner with an acceptable level of quality.

What you bring:

  • Communicates ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner

  • Knowledge of network technologies, i.e., routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, network and routing protocols, DNS

  • Knowledge of basic IT technologies, i.e., operating systems, network devices, software development and architecture

  • Requires knowledge of basic office tools

  • Ability to understand and apply technical concepts

  • Team skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

  • Flexibility, versatility, dependability
