Naval Radars is a portfolio area within the Naval Power, Naval Systems & Sustainment sub-strategic business unit, providing exceptional solutions in sensors and effector integration for the United States and its allies.  We are currently seeking a Senior Manager to serve as the Program Integrator for Naval Radars. 

This position reports to the Naval Radars Executive Director responsible for integrating strategy, communications, planning, continuous improvement, and execution discipline across the portfolio.  Naval Radars includes domestic and international full life cycle of the SPY-6 Family of Radars as well as the production and sustainment of the Future X-Band Radar franchise.

What You Will Do:

  • Work closely with the Executive Director, Program Area Directors, and functional leaders to integrate strategy, communications, planning, continuous improvement, and execution discipline across the portfolio
  • Lead internal and external (Customer) portfolio communication and reporting cadence, continuity, and content coordination
  • Lead portfolio investment planning, budget, and reporting including capacity, capital, and IRAD
  • Responsible for portfolio CORE and Improvement Target initiatives
  • Responsible for the implementation of the RTX Lifecycle Program Management across the portfolio
  • Display strong oral and written communication and presentation skills with senior leadership and external customers
  • Influence actions and change management across the cross-functional portfolio
  • Travel for select customers and business engagements (up to 10%)

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years’ experience
  • Prior leadership/management experience
  • Prior program/project management experience
  • Prior experience working cross functionally (i.e.: Engineering, Quality, Finance etc.)

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Strong communications skills
  • Well-organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Program Management Level 6 Certification or equivalent
  • Strong business acumen to proactively identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
  • Experience with development and production programs
  • Experience managing cost, schedule, and technical performance for programs
  • Experience with business and/or program management tools or systems
  • Experience with Foreign Military Sales, International Traffic And Arms (ITAR) regulations, Export Import (EXIM), and licensing requirements
  • General understanding of advanced radar programs
  • Demonstrated success creating and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, customers, government representatives, and peers

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
