As a Mktg Operations & MAPP at Pfizer Healthcare, you will provide critical compliance and operational support for the marketing organization. You will manage end-to-end MAPP approvals and payments, ensuring strict adherence to MAPP SOPs and compliance standards. Additionally, you will support the marketing team in planning and executing brand plans and provide general administrative assistance to the wider marketing function. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining compliance, operational excellence, and fostering collaboration across multiple stakeholders.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role you will:
MAPP Operations & Compliance
- Act as the primary in-country specialist for MAPP operations, ensuring all transactions and documentation strictly adhere to compliance standards and global policies, in alignment with cluster-wide operational excellence goals.
- Proactively identify, track, escalate, and resolve digital and process issues within MAPP Navigator, collaborating with the MAPP Service Centre and escalating to the Ops Lead as needed for continuous improvement.
- Serve as a compliance champion, educating and upskilling colleagues to minimize errors, reduce risk, and support audit readiness, in partnership with the Ops Lead and Compliance.
- Manage contracts and documentation for HCP engagements, ensuring all processes are audit-ready and compliant with both local and cluster-level requirements.
- Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, and Finance for exception management, and contribute to the harmonization of operational practices across brands and geographies.
- Leverage emerging AI capabilities to enable seamless MAPP operations
Marketing Operations & Process Support
- Support the seamless execution of marketing operations, including the design, production, and distribution of promotional materials, ensuring alignment with cluster-wide operational standards and best practices.
- Implement Gen AI content creation, localization and translation, working closely with cluster commercial leads and ICO.
- Support collaboration with cross-functional teams (Patient and Customer Experience, Pfizer Digital, BOP, MEET) to drive operational excellence, process harmonization, and digital enablement, as guided by the Ops Lead.
- Manage vendor creation and maintenance processes, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency across all transactions.
- Provide proactive operational support to the marketing team, anticipating needs and contributing to continuous process improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement & Continuous Improvement
- Act as a key liaison between the marketing operations function and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements
- Share best practices and operational insights with the Ops Lead and across the cluster, supporting knowledge exchange and operational synergies appropriate, and contribute to the cluster’s culture of continuous improvement
- Continuously seek opportunities for process optimization, leveraging digital tools and automation where ovement
Risk Management & Audit Readiness
- Monitor compliance metrics and maintain audit-ready documentation for all operational activities, proactively identifying and mitigating risks in partnership with the Ops Lead
- Support audit processes and readiness initiatives, ensuring robust documentation and governance in all areas of responsibility
Self-Development & AI fluency
- Maintain and regularly update a personal development plan to enhance performance and growth within the current role.
- Actively engage in Pfizer training programs and learning opportunities to build relevant skills and knowledge.
- Become AI fluent and become competent using different AI tools to maximize productivity and impact.
- Strengthen core competencies through continuous learning and feedback from peers and stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum requirements:
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in marketing operations, compliance, or commercial operations; pharmaceutical industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience supporting operational processes in a regulated environment (e.g., MAPP, compliance, vendor management).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with diverse stakeholders simultaneously.
- Proficiency in digital tools and platforms (e.g., MAPP Navigator, ARIBA, CRM, analytics tools).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and geographies.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and consistency in work output.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement and compliance.
- Ability to work independently and manage ambiguity in a fast-paced, complex environment.
