About the Role

As a Merchant Experience Specialist on the Catalog Accuracy and Analysis (CAAT) Tooling team, you’ll play a key role in driving quality assurance, process efficiency, and tooling optimization across complex workflows within OMS (internal DoorDash platforms) and related systems. This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a data-driven mindset. You’ll contribute directly to process documentation, tooling feedback loops, and cross-functional alignment to improve operator experience, accuracy, and automation.

  • Perform QA on complex workflows to ensure data integrity and process quality.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, ENG, and S&O to advocate for tooling enhancements and automation opportunities.
  • Act as a Tooling Subject Matter Expert (SME) — identifying trends, surfacing insights, and influencing scalable process improvements.
  • Utilize Google Sheets, MODE, and other internal tools to analyze performance and generate actionable insights.
  • Adapt quickly across multiple workflows to support pilot launches, scaling efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support team operations by monitoring trackers, preparing Trend Reports, and assisting with triage or escalations.
  • Consistently meet or exceed Task Per Day (TPD) and accuracy metrics while fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Join a fast-moving, innovative team that values curiosity, precision, and collaboration in driving results.
  • Work with team members to ensure the success of the team on a peer level as well as cross functionally with other teams and leadership
  • Learn and pivot between a variety of workflows in order to accomplish the greater business goals

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have a keen eye for patterns and trends, using data to drive efficiency and process improvement.
  • You’re operations-minded and passionate about delivering consistent, high-quality results.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and can easily shift between multiple projects or workflows.
  • You’re proficient in Google Sheets and comfortable analyzing data or creating process tools.
  • You’re detail-oriented, precise, and committed to accuracy.
  • You’re a strong communicator who enjoys collaborating across teams and sharing best practices.
  • You bring a problem-solving mindset and curiosity for improving tools and workflows.
