What you bring to SBHG : 

  • Master's degree in a Mental Health, Human Services, or closely related field. 

  • Two (2) years experience in the mental health field, and direct service experience with severely emotionally disturbed families/children; experience with high-risk families/children. Experience should be with children or adolescents with dual diagnoses in residential or outpatient settings. 

  • MHS II: Registered with CA BBS as an AMFT or ACSW.  

  • MHS III: Licensed in California as an LMFT or LCSW. 

  • Valid California Driver's License. 

  • Spanish Preferred 

 

How you will make a difference: 

This position has primary responsibility for mental health services and case management services to children, adolescents, adults, and their families. The Mental Health Specialist provides mental health services (including assessment and evaluation as assigned) and other services to clients referred to the Community Services Program.
