In this challenging role as Medical Communication Manager (m/f/x) at the Zeiss Medical Technology Division, you will work in a young, dynamic team at the interface between Marketing and Medical Affairs to increase the awareness of new applications and clinical data within medical communities, patients, and other stakeholders in the healthcare environment.
define medical communication and messaging concepts for assigned therapeutic areas based on customer insights, medical developments, and competitive monitoring in relevant markets, including consideration of trends in patient care
develop, align, and roll out the annual medical and professional education communications plan for selected therapeutic areas in alignment with the business sector's workflow and product communication plans
set up and implement global traffic-generating multichannel and medical communication campaigns to increase target groups' access, including conception, development, approval, and roll-out of related campaign assets and medical content collaterals, with an emphasis on data analysis for campaign optimization
develop and execute medical websites and content support for product websites of business sectors, including SEO and SEA strategies as well as relevant medical communication assets
cooperate, brief, and supervise external partners (creative agencies, media agencies, production companies) to ensure the quality and consistency of communication materials
cooperate and align with local counterparts in the countries on campaign activities, support localization, and identify potential needs for modification of assets and campaigns, including offering training for local teams
university degree in marketing or business, master’s degree or MBA preferred, alternatively, a university degree in a clinical discipline with an additional MBA
at least 3 years of professional experience in the medical industry, application knowledge in a surgical discipline preferred
at least 5 years of experience in customer-facing marketing or communication roles, ideally in a B2B setting, with significant experience in collaborating with medical professionals
knowledge of global marketing and communication trends for medical devices
strong capabilities to steer complex product and communication projects
intercultural negotiation skills, well-founded project and strategic communication skills, a high degree of social skills (people management, network maintenance), customer orientation, and strong lateral leadership skills
fluent English language skills, an additional language is advantageous
