Job Description Summary

Novartis is seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Medicaid Analyst. This individual will provide analytical support for financial reporting and compliance and review state Medicaid invoices. This role ensures data accuracy, coordinates report preparation, and manages timely submissions to support key business functions.


 

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical support to managers in matters related to financial activities, decision making and general projects.
  • Assist more senior colleagues with provision of accurate data and analysis to support long-term financial and business plans and forecasting process.
  • Support the preparation of reports on relevant facts and figures findings.
  • Support the preparation of written project proposals, analytical reports, and presentations.
  • Perform administrative tasks to facilitate the timely delivery and presentation of key data to supervisors.
  • Ensure adherence to risk management, financial compliance, and controls (Business Process Controls [BPC], Internal and External Audits).
  • Aid Finance Projects at country or BU level.
  • Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt -Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable)

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree Required (Financial or Accounting Major preferred)
  • Microsoft Suite Proficiency
  • Previous financial experience preferred

Benefits & Rewards

The salary for this position is expected to range between $60,600 and $112,600 per year. The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors. Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.
