YOUR ROLE

In your daily job you will:

  • Support the mechanical simulation team in performing numerical analyses using the Finite Element Method (FEM)
  • Prepare 3D geometry models for simulation using CAD software
  • Create reports and discuss results with the product engineering team
  • Actively participate in the development of mechanical simulation methodologies

YOUR BACKGROUND

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

  • Student status (preferable in: mechanics, automation and robotics or similar)

  • Availability minimum 20 hours per week

  • Solid understanding of the mechanical properties of materials
  • Knowledge of computational methods for static and dynamic behavior analysis
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
  • Experience with FEA packages (e.g., Simulia Abaqus, Ansys Mechanical)
