Essential functions:

  • Mechanical design and assembly of optical systems to validate its correct function with automated tests.
  • Optimization of the test rigs to be as space efficient as possible for a large scale test lab.
  • Participation in engineering meetings and contribution of creative ideas and solutions to technical challenges.
  • Documenting and reporting results, analyses, and recommendations in a clear and precise manner.
  • Hands-On Mentality

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Currently enrolled student in Mechanical Engineering or a related field of study.
  • Proficient language skills in English. German is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
