About the Role
Team Global Express is seeking Trade Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to join our modern workshop located in Larapinta, QLD.
This is a permanent full-time position offering a competitive hourly rate and outstanding employee benefits.
Permanent full-time employment
Competitive hourly rate: $48.02 per hour plus 12% Superannuation
Monday to Friday roster – 38 hours per week
Flexible start times between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM
Modern workshop with top-of-the-line diagnostic equipment
Fully supplied PPE (including boots and $300 towards protective prescription glasses)
Supplied and Laundered Uniforms
Supportive and collaborative management team
Ongoing training and development opportunities, both in-house and through suppliers
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, diesel, auto electrical, air conditioning, and hydraulic systems in accordance with job card requirements
Complete general servicing tasks efficiently and to a high standard
Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards
Contribute to a positive, safety-focused team culture
What You’ll Bring
Proven experience in a similar role
Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic (Certificate III minimum)
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to safety and compliance with HSE policies and procedures
Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency in your work
