The leader will also help set the overall GCC strategy, including scaling the GCC to meet increasing volumes and complexity, and serve as a key liaison to Blackstone leadership in the GCC and globally.

o Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance standards are consistently met.
o Prepare and present detailed reports on legal and compliance activities, findings, and recommendations to senior management.
• Develop and implement robust processes and playbooks to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.
• Partner with Blackstone’s tech and L&C leaders to ensure the seamless integration of new technology into workflows and global collaboration.
• In partnership with the GCC GC and L&C leadership, ensure all legal and compliance activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. Support the GCC GC in any matters related to GCC operations.
Team Development:
• Design the talent value proposition for offshoring operations to attract, recruit,
and retain top talent, driving operational excellence and optimizing cost efficiencies.
• Recruit, train, and mentor compliance professionals, building a high-performing team capable of managing complex legal and compliance tasks.
• Provide ongoing professional development opportunities to team members to keep them abreast of regulatory changes and best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for operational performance, regularly engaging with GCC leadership and relevant L&C leaders.
• Regularly communicate progress, challenges, and insights to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective compliance management.
Qualifications:
