Job Summary:

Raytheon is seeking a Supply Chain Manager (MPM), a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving program objectives in a matrix environment and able to successfully interface with functional and program leadership. In short, you’re able to lead and influence without direct reporting relationships. This role is in support of the Advanced Programs portfolio of proprietary programs located onsite in McKinney, Texas. This position is contingent upon a contract award. Employment in this role will only be extended if the program is awarded to the Munitions portfolio.

In this highly visible role, you’re the liaison between Supply Chain and the Integrated Product Team. You’ll create and execute Material Product Strategies and the Material Product Plans to ensure the flawless execution of products and programs from the front end of the business through contract closure. In this role the selected candidate will be responsible for leading the long-term strategy for radar production. The charter of this team is to drive the efforts and initiatives across all functional areas to improve material LOB position to meet or exceed all business and Customer requirements.

What You Will Do

  • Accountable for the supplier management process
  • Involved with daily supply chain activities associated with each of the programs, including financial reporting and analysis.
  • Develop and execute material product strategies
  • Achieve product material budget objectives
  • Manage product purchase / subcontract requirements
  • Create and track key product area performance metrics
  • Support monthly program and IPT Reviews
  • Spearhead Risk & Opportunity identification and mitigation / capture efforts
  • Involvement with supplier management efforts associated with suppliers critical to program success.
  • Accountable for supply chain cost, schedule, and quality
  • Manage the coordination and execution of program schedules with Program Management, Operations, Subcontracts, Engineering, and other cross-functional areas to support on time delivery.
  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies and utilize CORE best practices.
  • Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives for both recurring efforts and new business opportunities.
  • Interface with Customers to understand needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of service.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience
  • Experience with budget management, finance, and/or Earned Value Management System

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with Supply Chin strategies, processes, and procedures.
  • Program or Project management experience.
  • Exceptional judgment and decision-making skills
  • Effective leadership and communication skills with proven ability to interact at all levels of Management.
  • Ability to resolve problems in a timely, effective manner including exercising judgement in complex or ambiguous scenarios.
  • Earned Value Management Certification
  • Experience with budget management
  • Experience with MRP systems and / or tools
  • Experience working with Risk and Opportunity Management

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
