Conduct a cross-national discourse analysis in our four home countries on security and defence perceptions in politics, media and among young Europeans to understand how national identity, European belonging, and interculturality influence young Europeans attitudes toward security and defence.
Identify cultural differences and communication challenges for the defence industry, with a focus on Airbus Defence and Space.
Conduct qualitative interviews to understand young Europeans values, concerns, and media use.
Develop recommendations to enhance brand visibility and attractiveness, and contribute to a communication strategy that connects public discourse, youth culture, and corporate communication.
Enrolled full-time master student in the area of Communication and Cultural studies, Media Studies, Social Sciences or an equivalent field of study.
First practical experience in the defence industry, its products and technologies, and public perception challenges is desirable.
Excellent written and spoken English and German; knowledge of French, or Spanish is an advantage.
Strong interest in security and defence policy, youth attitudes, and intercultural communication.
Intercultural sensitivity and the ability to identify and analyse cultural differences in values, attitudes, and communication styles across all four home countries.
Understanding of corporate communication or branding, particularly in technical or defence-related industries.
Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic, international environment.
