Mascot Sprinter

The Mascot Sprinter performs as RaceTrac’s “The Freeze” at select Braves home games. 

Major responsibilities:

• As RaceTrac’s “The Freeze,” entertain fans while performing in the “RaceTrac Beat the Freeze” in-game promotion.  This promotion requires the performer to sprint while racing a fan on the field.   
• Must be physically able to participate in the “RaceTrac Beat the Freeze” race during Braves home games

Qualifications:

• Must be physically fit and in good health to endure conditions including extreme high and low temperatures
• Must be able to run during the “RaceTrac Beat the Freeze” on-field promotion.
• Previous mascot or athletic experience is strongly preferred, but not required
• Ability to interact in front of large crowds, engage with families and children
• High-energy employee with confidence and charisma
• Good verbal and non-verbal skills
• Availability to work weekends, weekdays, evenings, and some holidays
• Reliable transportation
• Willing to cooperate and work in a team environment
• Ability to be flexible to adjusted show times, appearances and overall live entertainment
• General knowledge of the game of baseball
• Must complete a successful background check
