The Events Marketing Manager, IQVIA Digital, will lead the strategy and execution of high-impact marketing events that elevate IQVIA Digital’s brand presence and drive engagement with healthcare decision-makers across life sciences, agencies, and endemic publishers. This individual will be responsible for developing an event-specific marketing strategy that aligns with business, sales, and product goals—integrating messaging, content, tactics, and channels tailored to the needs of pharma marketers, agency partners, and digital innovators.
They should be skilled in event strategy and logistics, lead generation, sales enablement and cross-functional collaboration. Our ideal candidate has a background in B2B healthcare marketing, a passion for creating memorable brand experiences, and a track record of enabling sales teams and contributing to measurable business outcomes.


This role will partner closely with the marketing team, product managers, sales leaders, and external partners. The position reports to the head of marketing for IQVIA Digital.


Key Responsibilities
•    Event Strategy & Planning
•    Develop and execute a comprehensive event marketing strategy across conferences, client events, industry events, and other activations.
•    Align event goals with broader marketing and commercial objectives, including lead generation, brand positioning, and customer retention.
•    Execution & Logistics
•    Manage end-to-end event logistics including venue selection, vendor coordination, registration, staffing, and budget oversight.
•    Collaborate with internal teams (sales, product, creative, operations) to ensure cohesive messaging and execution.
•    Content & Promotion
•    Partner with marketing and creative teams, and internal SMEs, to develop event assets: invitations, social cards, presentations, signage, and post-event recaps
•    Drive pre-event and post-event promotion across owned and paid channels, including email, social media, and display.
•    Measurement & Reporting
•    Track event KPIs including attendance, engagement, lead quality, and ROI.
•    Provide post-event analysis and recommendations for future improvements.
•    Budget & Process Management
•    Forecast and manage annual event budget.
•    Ensure adherence to internal travel and event authorization protocols, including RBU pre-travel forms and budget justification.
•    Maintain documentation and reporting for finance and operations reviews.


Qualifications
•    5–7 years of experience in B2B marketing events, preferably in healthcare, pharma, or life sciences.
•    Proven success in managing large-scale events and activations supporting sales enablement. 
•    Strong project management and vendor negotiation skills.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HubSpot, and Cvent, familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
•    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $75,600.00 - $189,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
