The Opportunity:
Join a dynamic team supporting our private health and retail life insurance business, reporting to the Senior Manager, Customer Communications & Engagement.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with product, technology, customer service, and delivery teams to craft and deliver impactful customer communications and marketing initiatives. These will include value-added content, member benefits, mandatory communications, and promotional campaigns for AIA Health. You’ll also contribute to campaign-based work supporting repricing efforts in the retail insurance space.
Your key focus will be driving customer engagement and retention, while identifying opportunities for cross-sell and up-sell across our offerings.
To do this successfully you will:
- Develop marketing strategies, plans and material for execution of all mandatory customer communications such as premiums change communications, product benefit changes, changes to insurance benefits linked to the AIA Vitality program and all other mandatory communications.
- Develop and execute a customer life-cycle communications strategy of all non-mandatory communications through onboarding, engagement, claims and retention activity – including communication of new product benefits, communications to drive engagement with AIA Vitality program, and cross/upsell opportunities.
- Work with technology and operational teams to identify opportunities to leverage technology to simplify processes around the creation and delivery of customer communication and collateral, while also enhancing the level of personalisation.
- Track and report on outcomes of customer communications campaigns to ensure business visibility of impact.
- Establish processes and maintain operating rhythms to facilitate a close connection and understanding of marketing plans with various stakeholders, including operations and technology.
Successful applications will have:
- 5+ years’ experience in marketing, customer communications or related fields.
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.
- Experience in project-based environments is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in customer marketing or communications preferably within health insurance and retail life insurance, financial services, or a similarly regulated industry.
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills – confident in engaging, influencing and aligning diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and deliver to tight deadlines.
- Strong creative judgement and ability to translate complex information into clear, customer-friendly messaging.
- Commercial acumen and a pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work autonomously and take accountability for results.
- Positive, proactive and collaborative attitude.
