You will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing automated email journeys, leveraging real-time data from multiple data sources (Salesforce CRM, Job postings, Website tracking, API calls, FTP, etc.)  and customer insights to drive engagement, retention, and conversion. This is a hands-on development role with strategic impact across our digital marketing ecosystem.

What You'll Do

  • Build cross-channel automated campaigns and programs leveraging email, SMS, Mobile push, and landing pages, using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and Salesforce Lightning CRM, Marketing Cloud Personalization and Einstein AI features

  • Develop and Test HTML email templates, ability to build dynamic email components and content using SFMC tools that work seamlessly across all email platforms

  • Build and optimize Journey Builder, Automation Studio

  • Implement dynamic content, AMPscript, and SQL queries to personalize messaging

  • Develop triggered communications, journeys, and automations in Salesforce Marketing Cloud

  • Build rapid campaign prototypes for A/B tests and pilots

  • Monitor campaign performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve automation logic

  • Build audiences, segments and data sources using SQL, APIs, filters and other Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Salesforce Lightning CRM, website, etc. into email journeys, campaigns and automations

  • Deep understanding of API’s and hands on experience on building API configurations, end to end testing.

  • Develop complex dynamic, personalized email content using AmpScript, SSJS

  • Partner with marketing stakeholders to translate business goals into technical solutions

  • Work with the analytics team to provide data reporting and analysis for campaign optimization

  • Work with operations to help troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce Marketing Cloud system issues

  • Collaborate with cross-functional agile team to continuously experiment, iterate, and deliver new campaigns, while optimizing existing campaigns

What You'll Need

  • 5-6+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Contact Builder and Einstein AI features in Marketing Cloud

  • 2+ years working with Salesforce Data Cloud (formerly Customer Data Platform), including data ingestion, harmonization, and activation

  • Salesforce certifications: Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Developer, Marketing Cloud Consultant, Data Cloud Consultant)

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM architecture and data models

  • Proficiency in AMPscript, SQL, and HTML/CSS for email development

  • Experience with API integrations, data extensions, and audience segmentation

  • Ability to translate marketing strategies into technical execution

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with real-time personalization, mobile messaging, or multi-channel orchestration

  • Experience in B2C email marketing campaigns using the Salesforce suite of martech products

The typical annual salary range for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.

$92,000.00 - $135,000.00
