The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is seeking to hire a Mid-Level Manufacturing Planner to join our Production Supply Chain Team at our Seattle, WA facility.
Job Responsibilities
Validating requests to make changes to records in the SAP system
Support design requirements for teams leaving legacy parts system and entering SAP
Investigate interaction problems between different systems and SAP
Elevate system errors and fixes needed to IT
Review internal SAP system queues
Evaluate impact and notify users of system downtime
Test new changes to the SAP system, catalog testing results and communicate findings
Find and fix gaps in data on a systematic level
Communicate process gaps with ME community
Test and manage administration of restricted users
Communicate escapements and incidents of non-compliance
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years of related work experience with Boeing engineering requirements and processes
Technical Skills: Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.
Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement changes in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous knowledge/experience, or ambition to learn, internal system interfaces and how to manipulate system code for the benefit of Boeing systems, processes, and users
Experience with supply chain
Experience with PDM, CAPP, REDARS, STEPS, SAP
