What You Will Do

  • Act as a strategic financial business partner for manufacturing cost center departments/ functions across the APAC region.
  • Consolidate, analyze, and report financial and statistical data (including budgeting, cost accounting, general accounting, and financial reporting).
  • Provide timely and accurate financial information to support operational management and decision-making.
  • Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes for relevant cost centers and departments.
  • Oversee general ledger maintenance, cost allocations, account reconciliations, and compliance with internal controls.
  • Analyze production costs, variances, and trends to identify improvement opportunities and cost savings.
  • Collaborate with department heads to define and track key performance indicators and operational drivers.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, financial regulations, and best practices.
  • Mentor and guide junior finance staff as needed.

How You Will Do

  • Build strong relationships with manufacturing and departmental leadership, ensuring financial alignment with business strategy and objectives.
  • Utilize financial systems to capture, consolidate, and analyze transactional and operational data.
  • Apply advanced financial and cost accounting concepts to evaluate performance, identify risks, and propose actionable recommendations.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional projects aimed at process improvements, cost efficiencies, and data quality enhancements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, compliance, and knowledge-sharing within the finance and operations teams.

Who We Look For

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive financial management and cost accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing operations within multinational environments.
  • Deep knowledge of financial consolidations, budgeting, reporting, and cost accounting best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to challenge and support business leaders using data-driven analysis and insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Excel; experience with business intelligence tools is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; attention to detail is a must.
  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced regional context.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarian.
