Role Description

The Line Leader will support the coordination of the manufacturing team to produce finished products for delivery to both Internal and External customers.

Responsibilities & Key Tasks

The successful candidate will:​​

  • Support the Manufacturing team of operators to manufacture and assemble automower products and build ahead assemblies.

  • Ensure timely assembly packing and delivery to customers.

  • Track delivery performance in line with the Manufacturing Plan.

  • Plan and allocate labour to fulfil the delivery schedule

  • Ensure that all team members adhere to Health and Safety requirements – update and maintain Safety RA’s.

  • Achieve and monitor Departmental Targets (SQCDEP)

  • Complete regular team and individual reviews promoting Husqvarna Values

  • Identify and introduce improvements relating to Lean Manufacturing

  • Audit processes and people to maintain SOPs and Visual Aids.

Additional Skills/Qualifications Required

The successful candidate should have:

  • Ideally a minimum Level 2 Qualification in Supervisory Management, although not essential.

  • The ability to work to right deadlines whilst under pressure.

  • The ability to continuously improve processes and procedures to increase delivery performance.

  • Ideally, be proficient in the use of JDE system and Microsoft packages including Excel and Word.

  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing Methodology

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including delivery and shortage reporting to management team.

This position requires flexibility to work in other areas of Manufacturing when requested
