Your Role

As Manager Wireless Module Development, you will be responsible for building, leading, and developing an engineering organization dedicated to the design, verification, certification, and industrialization of advanced wireless modules (e.g. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE/5G, UWB).

This role combines technical leadership, organizational development, and people management with the goal of delivering innovative, reliable, and production-ready module solutions for the global market.

What will you be doing?

  • Full technical responsibility for the development and industrialization of wireless products.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team (hardware, software, verification, and industrialization).
  • Manage and optimize Tria engineering resources and project priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering managers at other Tria sites to ensure global alignment and efficient resource balancing.
  • Oversee project controlling and reporting for all projects within your department.
  • Support sales and marketing through technical expertise, requirement analysis, and budget preparation.
  • Drive technical innovation in technologies, tools, and processes, and ensure continuous knowledge growth within the team.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g. ISO, RED, FCC, CE).
  • Promote employee growth through training plans, coaching, and talent development.
  • Foster continuous improvement through KPIs, best practices, and lessons learned.
  • Support failure analysis, validation, certification, and production release activities.
  • Plan, lead, and execute development projects considering technical, economic, and schedule objectives in the field of wireless module design.

What about you?

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in RF/wireless module development and industrialization.
  • Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing R&D projects.
  • Strong understanding of wireless technologies, certification processes, and compliance standards.
  • Solid experience in RF and embedded hardware development, including understanding of RF design principles.
  • Proven proficiency in test design and automation tools (e.g. Agilent ADS, Keysight VEE, LabVIEW, Visual Studio, Python).
  • Hands-on experience with measurement and test equipment (e.g. network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, protocol tester).
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and certification processes (ETSI, FCC, CE, RED, PTCRB).
  • Analytical and structured working style with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strategic, structured, and result-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Swedish or German a plus).
