Your Opportunity as the Manager, Sales Operations & Information Services
The Manager, Sales Operations & Information Services is responsible for developing, deploying and maintaining platforms, solutions, and process improvements to support the US Retail and Canadian Sales Organizations. This role provides strategic project, program, and process management to solve Sales biggest pain points and simplify our operating model. They are responsible for envisioning, building, and managing the trade funds ecosystem.
This leader will partner with the Directors and VPs across multiple functions including the US Retail field sales teams, Canadian Field Sales Team, Customer and Category Business (CCB), Information Services, and Commercial Analytics to identify, prioritize and resolve the largest system and process issues. He/She/They will be responsible for leading analysts and developers to complete complex, cross functional projects that provide exceptional business value to users. Manager, Sales Process and Technology must be able to successfully manage multiple projects at any given time while still maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and project quality.
Location: Orrville, OH (Close proximity to Cleveland/Akron)
Work Arrangements: Hybrid - onsite a minimum of 9 days a month primarily during core weeks as determined by the Company; maybe more as business need requires
In this role you will be responsible for the following:
Team Management
Responsible for managing a team of IS analysts and developers and business professionals of varying levels of experience and skill
Provide a consistent approach to setting performance objectives, managing balanced work assignments, reviewing individual performance, giving timely feedback, and supporting career growth through coaching & mentorship
Develop a team with strong customer service mindset while balancing priorities and resources
Perform budgeting and contract management of external staffing needs
Sales Commercialization Systems Run Model
Partner to envision, build, and manage trade fund roadmap and data governance
Responsible for the continued run model and administration of retail trade sales systems (CAS & CRM) to support Sales teams in managing ~$1.8B in retail trade spend
Recognizes and understands dependencies & data integrations across adjacent systems and verticals
Works with urgency to resolve transactional issues between cross-functional systems
Accountable for financial accuracy of Retail Trade General Ledger
Document critical issues and risks, ensuring system releases have risk mitigation plans and are ready for key launch windows
Manage key 3rd party relationships, funding requests and budgets
Sales Commercialization Business Process
Drive the standardization, simplification, and scalability of processes across the sales organization including fiscal year planning, customer contract management, trade system planning best practices, etc.
Partner with CCB, Sales, and Integrated Analytics to map critical processes, identify problems, recommend/take corrective action, and communicate performance results throughout the Commercial organization
Act as a liaison to represent and connect business needs to key functions and processes across the sales organization
Project Management
Act as Business Lead and/or IS Lead on large cross-functional projects as needed
Provides thought leadership on trade business processes and systems
Works to secure resources from business teams and IS
Responsible for leading and collaborating across vertical teams to ensure successful, on-time project delivery
Support M&A activities across multiple systems and processes
SOX & Audit Compliance
Supports monthly, quarterly and annual activities to comply with external auditor expectations and governmental regulations
Provides guidance on CAS CAPSA memo (Completeness and Accuracy, Privileged access definition, and System Accounts)

What we are looking for:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business/technical discipline, specialized training, or equivalent work experience
7+ years of relevant IS business/technical work experience
Strong business acumen
Exposure and/or working knowledge of systems development lifecycle, IT General Controls, and quality assurance
High personal standards of integrity
Project management experience
Effective communication and collaboration, willing to constructively challenge and actively listen
Ability to simplify and translate complex challenges into actionable tactical operational plan
In-depth understanding of business processes/systems and their interdependencies
Positive, can-do attitude; responds positively in challenging situations
