This role is responsible for the end-to-end execution and support of development initiatives that contribute to the strategic enhancement of the digital banking platform (Internet and Mobile Banking) and product enablement. The Manager will lead projects from planning through development, implementation, and post-production support, ensuring all deliverables are met within stipulated Service Level Agreements (SLAs). This requires strong business interpretation, technical liaison, and risk management.
1. Project Management and Execution (Functional)
Responsible for executing and supporting development initiatives that contribute towards the overall development for the digital banking platform (Internet or Mobile Banking) or product enablement for products and/or services.
Undertake the roles and responsibilities to project manage the implementation of products for Digital Banking platforms and Paynet Compliance related projects.
Lead product and channel development projects from inception to implementation.
Contribute to any other new assignment and project assigned by Management from time to time.
2. Business Analysis and Requirements Elicitation (Functional)
Responsible for the interpretation of business needs and translating them into clear application and operational requirements.
Elicit requirements using various techniques, including interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, scenarios, business analysis, task, and workflow analysis.
3. Stakeholder Management and Issue Resolution (Functional & Managerial)
Work closely with internal stakeholders (for example, product managers, customer servicing channels, operations, and Information Technology (IT)) to provide an integrated channel customer experience.
Highlight and resolve critical risks and issues associated with Digital projects.
Ensure Digital Banking meets the business objectives and service level goals by delivering quality projects on time and budget.
4. Innovation and Support (Functional & Managerial)
Research the latest digital banking trends and from time to time propose new innovative products for the digital banking channel.
Manage post implementation support as the second-tier support to the Digital Banking Operation team after project Go-Live for an agreed period of time (before handover to the Application Support team).
Manage junior team members (if applicable).
Experience:
Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in Information Technology (IT) project management, Business Analysis, or a related role within the financial services industry.
Direct experience managing and delivering projects related to Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, or digital transformation.
Experience with regulatory projects, such as Paynet compliance, is highly beneficial.
Skills and Knowledge:
Proven ability to project manage complex initiatives from inception to production support.
Strong capabilities in requirements elicitation and business analysis.
Deep understanding of the customer experience within digital channels and the need for integrated channel solutions.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to effectively liaise between business units and IT teams.
Knowledge of the latest digital banking trends and innovation.
