Summary

Provides oversight and leadership in the planning, implementation and ongoing enhancement of operational processes, products, and regulated deliverables. Oversees product launches, system and process changes, and ensures timely execution of operational readiness, printing, and regulated document distribution across business lines.

Job Description

Manages teams that will organize, assist and coordinate planning and implementation of new projects, regulations and other business needs. Oversees and supports multiple implementation projects. Reviews, requests and develops projects to ensure implementations are completed on time, within budget and meet business expectations. Strategically delegates work to staff based on skill levels and time commitments to ensure deadlines are met.

Responsible for end to end operational compliance and adherence to state and federal regulations. Partners closely with Product, Operations, IT, and Regulatory to translate business goals into executable project plans. Clarifies and translates business goals into clear objectives. Develops implementation strategies, while identifying the tasks needing completion to prepare staff for the changes and requirements. Coordinates effective communication with leadership and staff to ensure adequate training prior to project implementation. Provides short and long term solutions to identified issues, and communicates priorities as they relate to the issue. Communicates project status updates to leadership throughout the organization. Drives continuous improvement in department's efficiency and services by monitoring product changes, industry trends and best practices.

Coaches and mentors staff, and identifies opportunities for cross-training within the team. Capable of providing disciplinary feedback, and ensures team adherence to departmental and organizational objectives. Has working knowledge of product requirements, contractual obligations and the organizational policies. Demonstrates strong skills in problem solving, critical thinking, conflict management and team building to create a productive work environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum two years’ experience in operational process improvement or healthcare management required.

Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.
