Job Summary:
We‘re on the lookout for a superstar to join our team in the Philippines. We are seeking a strategic and commercially-minded Manager to lead and grow AirAsia's duty-free business in PAA for both the inflight environment (sales via crew) and e-commerce (online) channels. Key Responsibilities:
Business Strategy & Revenue Management:
Work with the regional team in managing the P&L responsibilities of Move Duty Free in the Philippines.
Drive commercial KPI’s including revenue and cost-optimization objectives.
Lead overall business development including merchant and partnership growth.
Drive local merchant acquisition to expand No. of products and brands on our sales channels.
Commercial & Marketing Execution:
Collaborate with the regional marketing team on local marketing initiatives and ensuring implementation is carried out successfully.
Collaborate with the regional ecommerce team to drive ecommerce growth - traffic, conversion & GMV.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team to achieve business objectives.
Act as a key liaison and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., Marketing, Tech, Finance, Operations) and external partners (e.g., brands, suppliers, retailers).
Present business performance, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Role Requirements:
Total 3+ years of experience preferably in travel retail, airline ancillary sales, e-Commerce, online marketplace management or travel retail digitization in Philippines, or South East Asia.
Hands on experience in Digital Marketing, Omnichannel implementation is an added advantage.
Education: A minimum of Bachelor's/Master’s Degree(s) in related field.
Agile all-rounder - must be adept at strategy, tactical decision making and stakeholder management.
Growth is a team sport - demonstrate a track record of leading or building a successful cross-functional teams that have generated value.
Able to juggle multiple priorities and build a sense of urgency in a dynamic environment.
An engaging oral and written communicator.
