As Manager, Creative Studio, you’ll help bring big ideas to life, ensuring operational excellence across every project. 

 

This role blends project management and account management to ensure smooth delivery of creative work that supports GEICO’s marketing and enterprise priorities. The Manager will report to and work closely with the Director of Creative Studio, serving as the connective link between internal partners and the creative team. This includes planning and managing projects, facilitating communication across departments, ensuring all creative deliverables are aligned with the original request, and delivered on time. 

 

The idea candidate has strong organizational instincts, understands how an in-house agency is positioned to support the broader business, and thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.  

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Partner with internal GEICO stakeholders to understand upcoming marketing and communications initiatives, identify project needs, and translate requests into clear creative action items for the studio team. 

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, meeting cadences, and production workflows that drive efficiency and accountability across creative projects. 

  • Coordinate with designers, writers, and other creative contributors to ensure milestones, reviews, and deliverables are met on time and within scope. 

  • Support coordinating resource assignments and capacity planning to optimize team workload and ensure smooth project flow. Identify efficiencies with the volume of work that is requested of the team. 

  • Serve as a day-to-day contact (along with Director, Creative Studio) for internal partners, providing project updates, managing feedback, and ensuring alignment between creative requests and final output.  

  • Partner with external vendors and production partners to assist in trafficking creative assets, manage delivery, and ensure timely execution in-market. 

  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize how work enters, moves through, and exits the Creative Studio, enhancing efficiency and clarity at every stage. 

  • Establish and maintain tools and methods for measuring Creative Studio effectiveness, including project delivery metrics, workload balance, and partner satisfaction. 

  • Lead post-project recaps, capturing learnings, performance insights, and recommendations to inform future work. 

  • Collaborate with enterprise partners beyond marketing to support cross-functional initiatives that benefit from Creative Studio expertise. 

  • Track project progress, flag risks or resource constraints, and proactively recommend solutions to keep deliverables on track. 

  • Foster a collaborative, positive team environment that emphasizes clear communication, accountability, and mutual respect. 

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • BA/BS degree in marketing, communications, project management, or a related field. 

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, account management, or creative operations, preferably within an in-house marketing or agency environment. 

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing shifting priorities and tight deadlines. 

  • Strong understanding of marketing and creative development process. 

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a proven ability to collaborate across departments and levels. 

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and proactive mindset. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Ability to distill creative requests into actionable inputs for the Creative Studio. 

  • Experience facilitating meetings, reviews, and approvals in a creative workflow. 

  • Skilled in using digital project management tools to organize timelines, tasks and reviews. 

 

PREFERRED: 

  • Experience working within a large enterprise marketing or brand environment. 

  • Familiarity with Wrike or similar project management platforms. 

  • Understanding of creative production for digital, social, and print channels. 

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma. 

 

LOCATION: 

This position is hybrid, with an expectation of three days per week in office. Preferred locations are commutable to the Washington D.C. (Corporate HQ) or New York City area.  


 

Annual Salary

$109,675.00 - $172,200.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
