Your New Role

Manager is assigned to primarily support on all WBP theatrical marketing campaigns.  Not limited to a supporting role and may expand into leading campaigns.

 

Under direction of the Creative Services Directors, the Manager is responsible for managing relevant worldwide marketing and advertising campaign materials for their title(s) including but not limited to:  Print (Key Art, OOH Materials, In Theater Materials) Digital (Digital Media, Keyart Debut Assets, Digital OOH and Sponsorship Assets).

 

The Manager also collaborates with other departments including Digital, Publicity, Promotions, Consumer Products and Home Entertainment as it relates to the synergy and implementation of all theatrical marketing assets. 

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Manager is assigned to primarily support on all WBP theatrical marketing campaigns.  Not limited to a supporting role and may expand into leading campaigns

  • Under direction of the Creative Services Directors, the Manager is responsible for managing relevant worldwide marketing and advertising campaign materials for their title(s) including but not limited to: Print (Key Art, OOH Materials, In Theater Materials) Digital (Digital Media, Keyart Debut Assets, Digital OOH and Sponsorship Assets).

  • The Manager also collaborates with other departments including Digital, Publicity, Promotions, Consumer Products and Home Entertainment as it relates to the synergy and implementation of all theatrical marketing assets. 

  • Work with Creative teams through the Print campaign process, assist in developing assets with creative vendors through exploration, comps and finishing phases. 

  • Manages comprehensive clearance and approval process on all advertising/marketing materials with legal teams

  • Assists Creative Services Directors with the fulfillment of Creative and Font Asset Data documents on all artwork finishing, and ensures that creative vendors are adhering to established WB issued protocols. 

  • Responsible for tracking production timelines and delivery schedules on all print and static digital assets.

  • Works with TV Finishing/MSP to develop, execute and produce finished Digital OOH materials and Lower Thirds using TV Spots and/or other Digital Media.

  • Compiles art overview and placement charts for legal and media approval for outdoor campaigns.

  • Manages the delivery and scheduling of Digital OOH materials with Media Department, posting companies and finishing vendors

  • Manage the delivery of all finished assets to Adstream platform for accompanying launch/debut of digital and print assets.

  • Attends Marketing Materials meeting and other department meetings on assigned titles and provides feedback/updates on creative materials to the necessary teams 

  • Assists Creative team to secure unit photography as needed with the Photo Dept.

  • Assists Creative Teams in preparing assets for filmmaker meetings and presentations.

  • Oversee the creation and execution of art for special events such as Comic Con, CinemaCon and various Film Festivals/Screenings.

  • Under the direction of department supervisor, works on special projects involving both internal and filmmaker requests outside of campaign. (Trade Ads, Announcements, Senior Leadership special requests, etc.)

  • Covers for other Directors’ titles when they are out of office.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5+ years experience in marketing, creative advertising and entertainment. 

  • (Another studio or entertainment agency preferred, but not required.)

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • BA/BS degree preferred.  Art/Design or Entertainment/Creative studies. (Helpful but not required)

  • Intermediate / Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign and understanding of various file formats as they relate to print and digital use.

  • Working knowledge of video editing – Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, etc.  (Helpful but not required)

  • Working understanding of all Microsoft office applications. 

  • Understanding of both PC and MAC platforms.

  • Knowledge of standard file storing/sharing systems (Wiredrive, WeTransfer, DropBox, etc.)

  • Ability to learn and navigate WB platform applications for securing, delivering and sharing assets.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $66,510.00 - $123,519.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
