About the Role

An Audit Manager leads and oversees multiple audit engagements, working closely with associate managers, senior executives, engagement leaders, and U.S.-based client teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality audit documentation. The role involves planning audit strategies, reviewing complex areas, mentoring staff, and managing client relationships in alignment with U.S. GAAP and firm methodology.

Beyond core audit services, our teams provide insights on risk management, process improvements, and regulatory compliance across industries including employee benefit plans, real estate, technology and hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple audit engagements, ensuring timely execution and technical accuracy.
  • Review audit documentation for compliance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Supervise and mentor executives, senior executives and associate managers providing technical guidance and performance feedback.
  • Collaborate with U.S. engagement teams to plan audits, assess risks, and develop tailored audit strategies.
  • Serve as a primary offshore point of contact for client communications and issue resolution.
  • Monitor engagement budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure efficiency and profitability.
  • Drive a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement within the audit team.

Qualifications

  • Candidates holding professional certifications such as CA, CPA (U.S.) are strongly preferred.
  • 6-9 years of progressive experience in audit, including supervisory responsibilities and U.S. GAAP engagements.
  • Strong technical knowledge of U.S. accounting and auditing standards, including ERISA requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and audit tools (e.g., CaseWare, or equivalent platforms).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Experience in Real estate, Construction, Technology, Employee Benefit Plans and Not-for-profits is an added advantage.
