RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the safe repair, calibration or maintenance of instruments and control systems.
- Performs general periodic maintenance and repairs on all plant instruments such as thermocouples, level switches, pressure transmitter, pneumatic chambers and valves, etc.
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdown and recurrent fault problems and provide technical support to mechanical and electrical personnel.
- Performs and assumes other duties and responsibilities as may be required by the immediate supervisor.
- Adheres to Company policies and work requirements and works in accordance with Company HSE Management Systems.
- Observes safety rules and regulations and reports unsafe conditions and act.
- Attends safety meetings and regularly makes safety suggestions.
- Ensure good Housekeeping in work place.
- Co-operates in devising safety equipment, guards and appliances.
- Execute regular maintenance schedules on all equipment from standpoint of safety.
- Identify potential hazards in workplace and report unsafe conditions and act.
- Execute and support all ISO SYSTEMS assigned duties.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of NTC (class II) Nitec certificate or equivalent and at least 3-5 years of industrial experience
- Safe work Practice
- Work as a team and communicate with all plant personnel.
- Able to trouble shoot
- Knowledge and able to overhaul plant equipment - Furnace steel conveyor belts, All type of rotating equipment, Pneumatic valve actuators and sensors
