Maximizing operating profit and equipment reliability through effective planned maintenance strategies. The maintenance planner supports the function of the plant maintenance group by developing job plans for all craft disciplines. He/she must generate work packages, manage work order backlog, periodically review their effectiveness and efficiency (continuous improvement).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create job packages to include drawings, work order history, PIDs sketches, BOM (Bill of Material) lists, loop sheets, ISOs, safety requirements, and other documentation depending on the size of the job.
  • Order materials, external labor, special tools, job specific safety precautions, and equipment.
  • Develop and/or support job plans by creating SAP task lists for Evonik and internal and external contractors.
  • Analyze work and material requests for compliance with established Evonik standards and workflow and provides accurate estimates through use of established time standards and job knowledge.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or Industry related degree preferred 
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience preferred. Plant Industry Maintenance or Construction which includes experience in planning/scheduling maintenance or construction activities, reading construction drawings and generating construction sketches and management experience. Preference is to industrial/manufacturing experience.  
  • Problem solving, communication, organization, and general computer skills are necessary. 
  • Proficiency in SAP and a Maintenance Scheduling Tool is required. 
  • Structured approach towards technical documentation. 
  • Leadership, team building and negotiating skills. 
  • Good understanding mechanical, electrical and instrument process equipment. 
  • Planning and coordinating ability.  
  • Knowledge of precision maintenance practices.

OPTINAL

  • Certification as a Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) by the Society of Maintenance & Reliability Professionals Certifying Organization preferred.

Summary Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. (Specific rate to be determined, but not limited to, geographic location, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data).

 

Pay Range: $79,000- $131,700
