Maintenance Supervisor
Reports to: Production Management
Department: Maintenance

Base Pay: $100k per year

Position Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all maintenance systems and assisting in improvement efforts for all plant operations and building facilities. This includes ensuring repair, upkeep, and maintenance of all facility equipment, as well as overseeing all maintenance processes and procedures.

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Observe all safety programs to ensure the protection of plant employees and visitors. Maintain proper records for all safety procedures and equipment.

  • Analyze mechanical and operational problems on plant equipment and oversee planning and implementation of corrective actions.

  • Represent the company in dealings with outside contractors, vendors, and consultants related to facility maintenance.

  • Continuously monitor production/process equipment for proper operation through routine inspections.

  • Create, implement, and maintain a preventative maintenance program, including inspection of plant equipment and inventory management for parts replenishment.

  • Maintain documentation including machine history, tool and equipment usage, and request replacements as needed.

  • Organize the Maintenance Repair Area and any other areas where repair work is in progress.

  • Perform fabrication, welding, design, and other duties to support successful company operations.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of experience and education.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance-related field.

  • Hands-on experience in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, and electrical operations (including single-phase and three-phase).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • CMMS (computerized maintenance management software) preferred

Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

  • Work may require stooping, bending, crouching, crawling, pushing, and/or pulling.

  • Must be able to communicate via phone, email, and in person.

  • Work environment may involve exposure to extreme temperatures.

  • Ability to sit or stand for up to 4 hours at a time.
