Te Tūranga – About the role 
As a member of the Supply Chain Engineering team, you will be instrumental in maintaining and improving the equipment in our three Auckland distribution centres and a cross dock in Whangārei. Your responsibilities would include: 
- Conducting preventative maintenance and minor repairs on various Distribution Centre equipment (e.g., racking, doors, refrigeration, MHE). 
- Performing basic building repairs including plumbing, carpentry, and painting. 
- Install and maintain signage, barriers, bollards, fencing, and office/warehouse fixtures. 
- Coordinating contractor work onsite and ensure safety documentation (JSA/PTW) is in place. 
- Supporting compliance efforts including Building Warrant of Fitness and update tasks in the MEX system. 
- Assisting with engineering projects and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance safety.

He kōrero mōu - About you 
The ideal candidate for this role will have: 
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in engineering, asset management, or facility maintenance. 
- Familiarity with MHE and battery types; safe use of hand and power tools (welding/lathe skills a plus). 
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office; MEX system experience preferred. 
- Licences preferred: Car, Forklift, Elevated Work Platform. 
- Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and adapt to urgent tasks. 
- Flexible availability to support 24-hour operations when required.
