The Crown Is Yours

As a Machine Learning Engineering Manager, you'll lead a team of Machine Learning Platform Engineers to provide a best-in-class experience for our customers. You will leverage your expertise in machine learning platforms to drive business-critical projects forward. Your work will be critical as we continue to build and innovate our data platform. You and your team will collaborate closely with Data Science teams to build a world-class platform. Beyond execution, you’ll set strategic direction, foster a culture of innovation, and raise technical standards across the organization.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with Data Science teams to design and implement all components of a modern MLOps stack including feature store, model serving, and model monitoring.

  • Manage hiring, training, and updates on team performance to management.

  • Define best practices for reliability, repeatability, obervability and scalability of data science systems.

  • Promote software engineering and MLOps best practices, including automation, containerization, monitoring, and testing.

  • Partner with Data Science, Data Engineering, Cloud Platform and Marketing Platform for strategy, scoping, and prioritization.

  • Utilize MLOps principles to drive the adoption of best practices across the team.

  • Lead the development and maintenance of end-to-end machine learning pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and automation.


What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of experience leading machine learning or MLOps teams, including 2 or more years in a formal leadership or management role.

  • Strong background in MLOps practices, including CI/CD (Jenkins), containerization, orchestration frameworks (MLFlow), model serving tools (Databricks), model observability frameworks (Monte Carlo, DataDog), and feature stores.

  • Extensive experience with data engineering and analytics platforms like Databricks.

  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and experience leading teams through delivery cycles.

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and executives.

  • Experience in the gaming industry or a related domain is a strong plus.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is 184,000.00 USD - 230,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire pay rates for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
