Department Overview

This position belongs to the FMCG Planning Department, where you will be responsible for formulating medium-term business plans and promoting strategies for Rakuten 24 and Rakuten Sokuhai Mart, which are driving the daily necessities and consumer goods category on Rakuten Ichiba.
Rakuten Sokuhai Mart purchases and sells daily necessities and consumer goods, and aims to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage, particularly through expanding the company's own delivery network and designing, managing, and improving logistics KPIs. In the future, this strategic position will cover the entire logistics network, including Rakuten 24, and aim to balance efficiency and service quality.

Position Details

Overview
We will plan and promote the expansion of our own delivery network and logistics strategy in the instant delivery market and FMCG domain.

Specific Responsibilities
- Develop and execute logistics strategies to expand our in-house delivery scheme
- Design, monitor, and drive improvements for logistics KPIs
- Optimize warehouse and delivery network capacity while maintaining and enhancing service levels
- Lead cross-functional projects in collaboration with marketing, merchandising, and IT departments
- Design of a future logistics optimization model, including "Rakuten 24"

- Entire business division: Approximately 100 members
- FMCG Planning Section: 4 members
- Senior Manager (1), Manager (1), Assistant Manager (1), and several members

Mandatory Qualifications:

- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (data analysis, KPI management, preparation of reports and proposal materials)
- At least one of the following experiences (approximately 3 years or more)
- Experience in logistics planning or improvement in the e-commerce or retail industry
- Experience in negotiation and contract management with 3PL or delivery service providers
- Experience in KPI management and improvement within the supply chain domain
- Experience in managing, operating, or improving operations

- Experience in planning and driving large-scale projects
- Skills in identifying issues and proposing improvements based on data analysis
