Position Summary
As a Localization Coordinator, Dubbing, you will play a crucial role in coordinating all aspects of dubbing
projects with Deluxe-owned and external dubbing studios. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure
the smooth and timely delivery of projects by distributing source assets, monitoring project milestones,
and effectively communicating project status to the Order Management team.
Primary Responsibilities
• Kick-off schedules with dubbing studios and facilitate smooth handover of project assets.
• Proactively monitor project milestones and timelines to ensure projects are progressing
according to schedule.
• Work with dubbing studios to prioritize work and understand capacity constraints, ensuring
alignment with project deadlines and client expectations.
• Act as the main point of contact for dubbing studios, facilitating communication, and addressing
any questions or issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
• Proactively communicate project requirements, timelines, and expectations clearly to dubbing
studios to ensure alignment and minimize misunderstandings.
• Report on project health to the Order Management team to inform project status, leveraging
technology and data for insights and analysis.
• Proactively identify and flag projects at risk of being delayed and coordinate with dubbing
studios to address any issues and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate with the Creative Dubbing Supervisors in ensuring final approval of dubbing projects,
maintaining the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
• Communicate with Creative Dubbing Supervisors project expectations and timelines across
multiple lines of business, including but not limited to dubbing and subtitling.
• Identify and communicate interdependencies across titles and lines of business, flagging
potential issues and mitigating risks to project delivery.
• Liaise with the Audio QC team to ensure the quality and accuracy of dubbing projects, providing
feedback to dubbing studios as needed to address any issues or discrepancies.
• Act as a point of contact for dubbing studios, managing escalations, and resolving technical
issues promptly.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in sending purchase orders to dubbing studios and triggering
resource payments.
• Accountable for on-time delivery, strictly respecting project milestones, procedures, and client
specification of respective languages.
• Own 100% adherence to keeping data in Deluxe platform (Smart sheets) accurate and up-to-date,
including milestones/deadlines for each deliverable, and dates for client-facing materials, etc.
• Clear and timely communication and own Deluxe’s brand when working with Studios to ensure they
receive a smooth and pleasant experience.
• Liaise with Order Management on changes to project plan, ensuring that the new plan is
communicated with those impacted teams, and we adhere to the revised or current deadline set by
the customer.
• Escalation of potential risks when managing a project, and suggestions to mitigate should be part of
the daily tasks. Escalate to Team Leads if Studio don’t deliver files on time, are unresponsive, are not
following instructions and if there are any attitude issues that impact quality and timeliness of a
deliverable.
• Use dashboards and tools available to keep track of current work, pipeline work and possible capacity
bottlenecks for the languages assigned to you. This will allow for pre-emptive planning to avoid delays
in delivery.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in film, media production, communications, or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience in project coordination, preferably within the media, entertainment, or
localization industry.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects
simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with
internal teams and external partners.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Sfera, Jira, Trello)
preferred.
• Knowledge of dubbing workflows and processes is a plus.
