The role:
The Immigration Coordinator helps to provide exceptional levels of business support to a wide range of internal clients by supporting Fragomen’s UK Inbound Associate’s and Paralegal’s in an administrative capacity. They are exposed to a full range of immigration processes and tasks.
What your day will look like:
Drafting Initial Emails/Letters: draft emails/letters of advice from templates
Drafting online visa application forms: draft online visa application forms including Skilled Worker, Global Business Mobility, Indefinite Leave to Remain, and others as directed
Paying for applications: submit and pay for online applications and additional services
Booking appointments: Book and re-schedule appointments online at the Visa Application Centre
Connect Updates: maintain and update case management records accurately
Compliance Packs: prepare immigration compliance packs for clients
Drafting and Submitting Certificates of Sponsorship: Drafting and submitting Certificates of Sponsorship on the Home office’s SMS system
Managing dropboxes: answering queries from the client, assignees, and case workers
Special Projects: take on additional projects as required with tight deadlines
Support / training: Once experienced - training of new employees, which could include producing and/or delivering training packages
Ad hoc duties: assist with ad hoc administrative functions, as needed
The team:
The Shared Services team in Sheffield is an extremely friendly and diverse team to join with people of all ages and backgrounds. The large team is split into smaller sub-teams with a Team Lead overseeing the workflow and direct line management of the Senior Coordinators and Coordinators. The tiered structure of the team allows for opportunities to develop and grow within the team, as well as within Fragomen through exposure to other business units.

Essential criteria:
Strong administrative and data entry skills, this can be taken from either previous work experience or educational background
Attention to detail, time management and strong communication skills
Ability to work flexibly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrate exceptional planning and time management skills with an ability to multi-task
Be proactive and able to act under instruction with limited supervision
Be able to plan workload, meet deadlines and priorities
Ensures work completed is accurate, to a high quality and follows standard layouts
Completes tasks within agreed timeframes and in line with expectations
Completes a number of tasks and processes as per the daily, weekly, and monthly targets
Implement effective processes to manage workflow and meet deadlines
Demonstrates proficiency in word processing, Internet, and email systems

What to expect:
